IIPA-Funded Research

Since its inception, the Institute for Integrative Precision Agriculture has annually issued requests for proposals and awarded pre-seed, seed, infrastructure, and equipment grants to its members. The submitted proposals were peer reviewed for scientific rigor and multidisciplinarity. To date, $1.88 million has been awarded.

  • Pre-Seed Grants support early team-building activities.
  • Seed Grants provide funding for preliminary data collection and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Large-Team Infrastructure Projects provide funding for establishing a foundation for conducting cutting-edge research that provides a competitive advantage when submitting federal grant proposals.
  • Equipment Grants fund shared equipment that accelerates integrative precision agriculture research.
