Serving the state through UGA Extension

The Extension IPA focus is on developing and delivering educational materials to UGA Extension agents, producers, government officials and other stakeholders in the area of Integrated Precision Agriculture. The focus is to educate stakeholders across all demographics of Georgia on development, applications and implementation of all aspects of precision ag.

Extension activities will be developed and implemented with other Georgia commodity groups such as corn, cotton, fruits and vegetables, livestock, peanut, poultry, soybean, and other relevant crops. These activities will include agent trainings, producer meetings, field days, one-on-one training and support, and material development such as websites, blogs, apps, and fact sheets.
