About Dr. De Pascale

Dr. De Pascale is a Professor of Horticulture at the University of Naples Federico II. She specializes in plant adaptation to stress, organic horticulture, and growing plants in space for bioregenerative life support systems.

Her research focuses on water and nutrient management, biostimulants, vertical farming, and the challenges of microgravity and radiation. Her weeklong visit is sponsored by the CEA  Crop Physiology and Production lab, Department of Horticulture, Office of Research and IIPA.
