Advancing education in precision ag

The IIPA is working with UGA academic departments to develop areas of emphasis in Integrative Precision Agriculture within existing majors. One example is the precision agriculture area of emphasis within the Agriscience and Environmental Systems major. The Institute is also partnering with industry to offer UGA students training on state-of-the-art equipment and software. Institute faculty are actively involved in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students on IPA-related research projects.

At the graduate level, IIPA faculty are offering numerous IPA-related courses and are coordinating the graduate certificate in Agricultural Data Science.
